Navarre Beachside Church began on Memorial Day weekend in 1995, founded by John & Irene Kerns. Originally started as a community outreach, it has since evolved into a thriving congregation, continuing its mission to connect people with Jesus. Following the passing of the founding pastor in 2022, Tommy Sexton assumed the role of senior pastor, bringing fresh leadership to guide its ongoing ministry.
Pastor Tommy is a graduate of RHEMA Bible College. Having served alongside of Kenneth Hagin Ministries, Pastor Tommy brings the perfect mix of fiery evangelism and heartfelt pastoral care to the beach.
Navarre BeachSide Church’s mission is simple and rooted in faith—we’re here to share the Gospel, teach God’s word, and help raise disciples. We believe that being born again is the key to truly entering the Kingdom of Heaven, and we’re here to share that message with anyone who steps onto the beach with us.
Pastor Tommy loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s camping, traveling, or hitting the water for some jet skiing and boating. He is also a big fan of staying active at the gym and enjoys connecting with the community.
